Guided by nature and subculture, and rooted in the belief that healthcare should be autonomous, Dr. Cristina introduces a unique adventure for the mind, body, and spirit. She provides holistic experiences of health care and education, with genuine hospitality.

As a Naturopathic Doctor, Cristina’s goal is to provide her patients with integrative lifestyle and environmental medicine, educate, and heighten patients’ self-awareness so that they can build positive practices that fit their lifestyle and are life-lasting.

Dr. Cristina is a resource for her patients to help them learn about their individual health, and a guide to achieve well-being.

She establishes an authentic relationship with her patients, learning health history and current lifestyle, determines the root cause of the complaints, and treats to encourage long-term optimal health. Her four-pronged approach to healthcare is simple:

  1. Consider the individual as a whole
  2. Empower and inspire through education
  3. Apply sustainable and lifestyle medicine treatments
  4. Promote prevention as key

Treatments are a blend of modern, evidence based medicine and traditional modalities, with a focus on nutrition, herbal medicine, acupuncture, and IV therapy, individualized and backed by functional medicine testing intelligence.

Dr. Cristina Allen is a graduate of the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, Canada’s leading institution for naturopathic medicine. She has completed additional pharmaceutical prescribing certifications to prescribe bio-identical hormones and natural desiccated thyroid, specialty training in paediatrics and fertility, and is one of the few naturopathic doctors in Eastern Ontario licensed in Intravenous Therapy and Mesotherapy.

With over a decade of experience working with cannabis as medicine, as a consultant for medical cannabis products, a buyer, culture and community builder in recreational cannabis, and leader in sustainability in the industry, Dr. Cristina offers a wealth of knowledge in all things cannabis.

Dr. Cristina provides workshops on the impacts of climate change on health, permaculture, seasonal and healthful eating, foraging wild Ontario, and the impacts of stress on health.

Dr. Cristina is also an explorer, chef, and a creative. She enjoys participating in activities such as open-fire local cooking, swimming in Georgian Bay, snowboarding, and fly fishing. She has had several art shows in Toronto, played in various bands, and writes about the importance of the integration of health with nature.

Dr. Cristina welcomes patients to a practice where a science-based approach that honours traditional medicines is combined with a depth of experience, to ensure a healthful and climate resilient future.
